Join award-winning authors Catriona MacGregor and Rosaleen Bertolino for the method writing workshop - "Writing From the Soul: Discover the Secrets to Going Deep."

Going deep allows the writing process to become an insightful journey that can lead to stories of wisdom, beauty, and longevity-and writing that truly touches readers. In this soulful workshop, participants will delve deep to access the inner workings of their being in order to connect with the beauty, joy, fun, sorrow, and ultimately the truth that resides there.

From this deep place of being, participants will relate their experience and being through the writing process. In a world filled with surface-level interactions and abbreviated superficial communications, this workshop is a boon for serious writers as well as for those to new to the art of writing, and offers a powerful healing journey for all.

There will be plenty of time for in-depth sharing as well as time to spend writing on your own, or simply enjoying the area. Historic Nevada City with its many wonderful shops and restaurants is only two minutes away and the regions natural beauty is stunning.

Owl Lodge sits on four quiet acres in Northern California just minutes from quaint Nevada City near the Northern Sierra foothills. The house is near the Yuba River, and overlooks Tahoe National Forest Land. The region is ringed by deep green hillsides, just minutes from sparkling Sierra lakes and rivers, with forested trails perfect for hiking and biking. You will leave feeling renewed and inspired.

Healthy and delicious organic food will be provided (and included in the price) for two meals a day. (Additional meals can be enjoyed at over 30 local restaurants just minutes away in nearby Nevada City and Grass Valley.)

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTORS:
Catriona MaGregor has a Doctor of Divinity, and her book,"Partnering with Nature: the Wild Path to ReConnecting with the Earth,"was awarded a 2011 Gold Medal Nautilus Book Award, which recognizes "world-changing books" that "promote spiritual growth, conscious living and positive social change as they stimulate the imagination and inspire the reader to new possibilities for a better world." Previous winners include His Holiness The Dalai Lama, Deepak Chopra, Barbara Kingsolver, Eckhart Tolle, Dr. Andrew Weil. Catriona is a co-author of "Healing the Heart of the World: Harnessing the Power of Intention to Change Your Life and the Planet," along with Carolyn Myss, Jean Shinoda Bolen, Fritjof Capra, Thich Nhat Hanh, and others. Catriona teaches internationally and has presented at venues in six different countries. Rosaleen Bertolino's fiction has appeared in a wide variety of publications, both online and in print, including West Marin Review, The Chicago Reader, and Southern California Review.
